Larry Kamholz, President

Larry Kamholz has a long history of helping people in the community.  Larry grew up on a dairy farm his entire life and learned the valuable life lessons of hard work, integrity and the desire to help others.  As the youngest of eight children, Larry realized that he was made to work with and to help people.  Larry graduated from high school and enrolled in a technical college for Police Science.  Shortly after graduating from this program, Larry was quickly hired as a Police Officer in Monroe, WI.

At the Monroe Police Department, Larry was instrumental in creating community-policing programs, which included; community newsletters, bike patrol and other outreach programs.  After a few years, Larry moved to Madison, WI for a bigger challenge with the Madison Police Department.  Larry served the community as a patrol officer in the high crime areas of the City, as well as the business communities.  Larry served in various bureaus at the departments and eventually was hand selected by the Chief of Police in Madison to serve as his assistant as the Public Relations Director.  In this role, Larry was responsible for providing daily information to the public and representing the Chief and the department locally and nationally.  Larry created many community policing initiatives and educational program to help the community become safer through various safety measures and techniques.  During Larry’s tenure at the Madison Police Department, he pursued both his Bachelors and Masters Degree in Business Management and Communication.

After serving 14 years at the police department, Larry had an unfortunate career ending injury in 2005.  Because of those injuries, Larry retired from the police department and has led a group of highly trained expert law enforcement executives to help businesses and individuals identify safety risks and what they need to do to minimize them.  Larry has assembled the most premier group of men and women from around the United States who have dedicated their lives to law enforcement and helping others.  This group at Straight Forward Crisis Management, Inc. has been recognized both locally and nationally as the most elite group of law enforcement officials.  We are very proud of our team and pride ourselves on the best of the best.

Larry continues to be a national law enforcement expert and gives commentary on local and national news networks on law enforcement activities and events.  Larry has appeared on Good Morning America, The Today Show, The Early Show, Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, Dateline, NBC Nightly News and many others giving expert police commentary on police related incidents and sharing safety information to help protect individuals.
